Opening night in Melle (79)

Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site and located on the Saint-Jacques-de-Compostelle pilgrim route, the Saint-Hilaire de Melle church is a stunning example of Roman art in Poitou-Charentes.

It offers the décor for an exceptional evening in the company of international performers.
  • “The Four Seasons” by Vivaldi, a musical masterpiece interpreted by the Orchestre des Champs-Elysées, offers music full of seasonal colours and illustrations, bird songs, thunder, shepherds, hunting and frozen lakes.
  • Carillon Céleste by the Compagnie Transe Express brings together musicians and trapeze artists suspended from a magical form for more striking visual and audible variations under the stars.
  • The artistic lighting of the church when night falls provides an ephemeral and colourful backdrop to the show. A convivial evening which will prolong the magic of meeting the artists.
